SIMPLE SPRING CENTERPIECE

Holidays always include compromises. Which is how I created a simple spring centerpiece.
Last year after Easter I decided to scale back on bunnies and pastel eggs.
It coincided with the fact I had misplaced my spring bin so it was an easy decision to pull back on the spring decor.
Until last week Iwhen I found the clear bin.
If you are a friend/ subscriber to Everyday Edits you know I ove simple centerpieces.
I like to use wreaths year-round for doors and centrpieces.
What makes this spring centerpiece so easy (it took me minutes.
I have a system when creating a centerpiece.
It’s all about the base.
I bought and shipped my first boxwood wreath fraom a store in Knoxville called Fig & Co.
I fell in love with boxwood wreaths.
Eventually, I found a set of preserved boxwood wreaths.
STEPS FOR SPRING CENTERPIECE
- I started with a Lazy Susan wine barrel lid.
Question: Do you capitalize Susan if it’s a swivel wine barrel?
When it is not in use I store the wine barrel in the living room under a plant. I know.
2. I add a grapevine wreath to the wine barrel lid to bulk up the centerpiece.
3.t I add a cake plate to the center of the grapevine base
4. 4. Followed by a smaller preserved boxwood wreath instead of faux grass.
5. And top the centerpiece with a pillar candle.
6. I finish it off with pastel and speckled eggs tucked around the plate.

I found the pastel speckled eggs at Michael’s Hobby Lobby and the Dollar andr 25 cent store.
I topped it off with a pillar candle.
I will add more eggs to the centerpiece and table when we get closer to Easter.

You make this centerpiece look so lovely and simple to try. Using wreaths as a base is a great idea and fills out the centerpiece nicely. Candles and colorful Easter g]eggs pair so nicely together to create a festive look, Laura.
