The last time I took up a holiday craft project was when my sister and I painted the Michael’s Crafts Christmas Town Village.

Her town looked like it belonged in a Hallmark movie, whereas my town looked ready for redevelopment.

But I could not resist finding ways to use fillable clear ornaments or jewel-tone ornaments. It turns out the fillable ornaments make creative ways to give a gift.

It’s all about the presentation, right?

Of course, my boys tend to wrap Christmas gifts in every roll of gift wrap but the Christmas paper conveniently located in our laundry room!

One year, my Christmas gift was wrapped in a Target plastic bag with a bow around the knotted bag!

All you need for these ideas are clear plastic ornaments.

I found mine at Kroger. Amazon, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels sell refillable ornaments!

And if you cannot find plastic ornaments, substitute them with mason jars or ornaments with a removable “cap.”

They don’t have to be clear!

Tip: Small mason jars work as well; place them at the bottom of the tree.
