RED, WHITE, & BLUE CENTERPIECE IN A BOX
Today I am joining Carol from Blue Sky at Home to share holiday decor ideas for Memorial Day. If you are a frequent visitor you know I love a repurposed project. And that is how I created a red, white, and blue centerpiece in a box for Memorial Day.

MEMORIAL DAY CENTERPIECE IN A BOX

The funny thing about this centerpiece is I was cleaning out the unfinished space in our lower level (basement) and I have several boxes from Bath & Body Works.
I love the adorable blue and white buffalo plaid shipping boxes.

MEMORIAL CENTERPIECE STEPS
Shop your house for these everyday decor staples. You would be surprised what red, white or blue decor you can find it your kitchen or basement!
- Cardboard box (repurposed Amazon or retail box)
- greenery
- red, white and blue decor
- glass accessories with red, white or blue paint!
REPURPOSED BOx
We all pay for these boxes when we order anything (it’s built into the price) so we might as well find a way to reuse the cardboard boxes. love the Bath & Body Works boxes. I organized my entry closet with these boxes. Don’t judge it was 2020 andI had B&BW foamy soap on auto-ship (and their 3-wick candles).
I will not give up my dream that Chewy will take notes and add paw prints to their boxes.
GREENERY in the box
What I love about blue and white is it pairs so well with greenery. I love greenery (real or fake) because they work year-round.

RED, WHITE AND BLUE DECOR IN THE BOX
To make my seasonal decor more manageable I organized them with these storage bins. Red and white decor works for multiple holidays so I keep a separate bin for red and white t for Christmas, 4th of July and Valentine’s Day.

Flip it for a Memorial Day or Valentine’s Day centerpiece.

I dug through my bin and found a few staples. You may recognize the Celebrate America sign from this Americana centerpiece.
With my decor staples, I just layered the box with faux boxwood and petite decor ideas. My kids made these red, white and blue clay pots (with paint) years ago!

Thank you for stopping by today! Please pin for others to find!

Laura, what a fantastic idea to use the blue and white plaid box for your centerpiece! It’s absolutely perfect!!
Laura, those blue check boxes are awesome. Does BBW still ship in them? I’d order something just for the box. What a cute centerpiece that is so simple. Thanks for showing how easy it is to create from things we have around the house.
Yes they do Carol! I love their boxes. I wish more retailers fancied up their boxes (we pay for it either way). ;0)
The best things are ones we repurpose in our homes. Such a cute project. I’m with you in the Chewy box!
