LOOK AT THIS VALENTINE CANDLE CENTERPIECE
What I love the most about Valentine’s Day is the chance to decorate with pink and eat chocolate
I also love to find new uses for everyday items like brown packing paper and jars.
I started on this Valentine centerpiece last year!
I stashed my empty candle jars in this dresser.
This centerpiece was a year in the making for Winter 2026.
It’s like the anticipation of the Winter Olympics, but this Valentine centerpiece would be in the Home & Garden repurpose event.
I created a Valentine Centerpiece with repurposed candle jars in pinks and reds and soft whites.I love it.
SUPPLIES
Glass candle jars in shades of pinks, whites, reds and purples (the only jar that is not represented in this centerpiece.
Many of you will recognize the jewel and soft tone candle jars from my favorite retailers for candles.

Homegoods was absent from this year’s centerpiece!
This is the perfect centerpiece for craft challenged people like me.
I added a mix of votive candles, tea lights (candle and plastic), and my new favorite light staple: the battery-operated motion detector puck lights.
STEPS
I added and removed pinecones and snow balls and decided less is more for a repurposed candle centerpiece. The pinecones looked a little confused next to the pink metallic jars.
It is a bright and flashy centerpiece!
The best part is I started cleaning and collecting my jars last March as the peak months of candlelight closed in on April and May (ironically, April is one of our snowiest months).
If you collect empty glass candle jars, a can of spray paint works for every season.
I might try this can of spray snow for next year’s candle centerpieces.
I arranged mine on the empty candle jars on a vintage wine barrel lid.
