LAST MINUTE THANKSGIVING TIPS

It’s the last minute rush to put together a meal that looks like a Martha Stewart table. Right now I have 2 bags of potatoes by the front door and no one in my family has thought to haul them up the flight of stairs to our kitchen.

It is eight steps to climb the stairs to the kitchen. Anyone?

My refrigerator looks like the freezer section at Kroger the day after the Super Bowl. Nothing is in its rightful place and someone bought onion dip instead of sour cream.

In the hours before Thanksgiving here are few tips and finds to celebrate Thanksgiving.

  1. If you need a last minute mashed potato recipe I am making Lynn’s mashed potato recipe. Minus the onion dip.
  2. Check out these ideas for leftover cranberry sauce.
  3. Here is my favorite cranberry sauce recipe from a celebrity’s brother.
  4. Need ideas for a kids’ table? One word: crayons!
  5. I recently shared this conversation kickstart but just in case!
  6. Easy cranberry mocktail recipe!
  7. I may need to add a shot of Vodka for every person that walks past the potatoes sitting by our front door.

Thank you for stopping by today and all the days of the year! It means the world to me that you show up to read Everyday Edits or The Weekend Edit recap! I hope you have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.

  1. Thank you for your friendship, comments, emails, recipe advice and cooking tips! Thank you for cringing, but not commenting on my run-on sentences. I often return to the scene of the grammar errors to silently edit my blog on a Saturday morning.

If you have a crowd of different ages and stages take a screen shot of my questions from the conversation kickstart link above! If you have funny conversation ideas please leave them in the comments or email me here.
