L00K WHAT YOU CAN CLEAN IN THE DISHWASHER
This tip is great for those days when you have a half load of dishes in the dishwasher, but you don’t want the spaghetti-covered white plates to sit overnight in the dishwasher.
If you are a reader of Everyday Edits you know I hate to waste water so when I have a half-full dishwasher I have a few go-to items that I add to the top level. There is never a shortage of items I grab from kitchen drawers or bathroom vanities.
Let’s take a look at this list of items to consider when you have room in the dishwasher.
IDEAS TO ADD TO A HALF-FULL DISHWASHER
- Baseball caps (I feel like this is a freebie tip because I have used the top level for baseball caps for years).
- White canvas tennis shoes (top-level).
- Dog collars (top rack)
- Pet Bowls
- Sponges and sink brushes
- Toothbrush cases and holders (after trips or colds).
- Plastic storage bins (this is a favorite)
- Dog chew toys and Kongs ( a must for peanut butter)
- Refrigerator shelves and bins
Did you notice the theme in the list above? Most of the items I add to the dishwasher are things that clean or organize.
