HOW TO DECORATE A SPRING PORCH BENCH

Spring is here and it is time to clean the front porch after drawn-out winter. I love a spring porch bench to greet guests and the Amazon delivery person. Today I am sharing a spring porch bench.

And why you should never throw away tired pillows.Welcome to Everyday Edits. Let’s go!

SPRING PORCH BENCH

SPRING PORCH BENCH DECOR

Our front porch is small. If I add too much it starts to resemble a box of unwanted garage sale items marked “free.” So this bench was a great size for a small porch.

The porch is saddled by wrought iron railings on both sides it is hard to get a wide shot. So here is snipped of the bench. I think I found this at Homegoods.

You may recognize it from the back porch.

PILLOW

I found this pillow cover on Pottery Barn years and years ago. I found it on the clearance tab on the website. Pottery Barn pillow covers hold up to a washing machine and dogs. They are timeless.

SPRING PORCH IDEAS FOR A SMALL PORCH

This pillow cover has the weight and texture of a sail or a waxed bag. It weathers the spring weather in Colorado. So next time you hop on Pottery Barn check out this section.

Like most of my ideas, I add a ribbon to signal a season change.

WREATH

To add a little more color I added a petite wreath that I love!

    1. I agree Lora. I love the simplicity of ribbon around a bow for a seasonal look!
      Thank you!

  4. Laura, I love your bench! It’s the perfect size to sit and put on a pair of boots or just to sit and watch the world go by. <3 Our porch is really small, too. Sometimes I miss our monster porch from our last California house; it was large and we had double doors. I had a ton of plants in pots on it, but small porches definitely have their charm! I'm glad you used your Pottery Barn pillow. (They do have good pillow covers! )

Enjoy your porch as you hop in and out! I hope spring is on its way to you in Colorado!!
    Hugs,
    Barb 🙂

  6. Great idea to use the small bench, Laura. Love the bright pink ribbon that you added to the pillow. The wreath was also a great way to add color and texture. Thanks for the Pottery Barn pillow tip.
