ENTRY MILK CAN PLANT STAND
If you are a frequent visitor to Everyday Edits you know I love my milk can. I am the only one in my family who loves this vintage, garage sale find. I decided it needed a fresh coat of paint to kick off the spring season. Hale Navy gave it a new look and a new purpose. It was perfect for the role of a milk can plant stand.
MILK CAN PLANT STAND
If you are new to milk cans here is a brief history lesson on this metal milk storage staple. staple. In most seasons my metal dairy can gets a makeover. I never tire of finding new uses for this 24″ tall metal can with the familiar side handles.
After I gave it a fresh coat of paint I planned to keep it in a kitchen corner.

With our new Dutch door I moved the can around the corner. But with two Bernese Mountain dogs in and out of that door all day, it was too crowded.

ENTRY PLANT STAND
After I painted the interior side of my front door I decided the entry needed a little color next to the pure white door and sidelights.

The navy is a great compliment to my Reveree Pewter walls. Our entry includes two insets for this Pottery Barn repurposed dresser and a window provides morning and late afternoon sunlight.
I repurposed the entry closet to the left of the door.

MILK CAN REPURPOSED
I love to pair blue and green so I moved the fern to the entryway for sunshine and a pop of color .

Do you have a milk can? What is your favorite vintage find? I would love if you pinned this for others to find!
