We live in a neighborhood where the pine trees and scrub oak provide four seasons in our backyard. Our yard was ready for awater fountain.
THE SOUNDS OF SUMMER UNDER A NIGHT SKY
The sound of trees swaying in the evenings, with only the stars to light the walkway, and (shameless plug )fmaybe these solar path lights) is pure bliss.
PROJECTS
Over the years we added and subtracted playsets and patio chairs. We added flagstone for a footpath between the front and back yards.
I cleaned up the side yard.
When we hear the squirrels jumping from branch to branch it sounds like they are on a zipline course.
It turns out it took a water fountain to get us outside at the end of a long day or read a book on a lazy Sunday afternoon.
