PRETTY IN PINK
Happy Weekending! Congratulations it is the last Saturday in January. We are headed to the shortest month of the year!
I attended a friend’s 60th birthday party. We each got a pink cowboy hat with lights. We were asked to wear black with a splash of pink. I snagged my daughter’s NYC knockoff Kate Spade bag (from when she was eight).
When I got home my youngest son saw my tricked-out cowboy hat and said I belonged on the party bus in Nashville.
This week I figured out how to turn off the notifications of a group text. I still get the texts, but I don’t get buzzed.

I bet you looked Pretty in Pink, Laura! That must have been a fun birthday party. When we went to the National Western Stock Show I almost bought a cowboy hat for myself but then I knew I’d probably never wear it and put it back. I never liked hats–even to wear in cold NYC winters.
Tomato paste is condensed tomato sauce and is usually used as a flavor enhancer in sauces or soups.

Yo! I love anything tomato based! I’ll eat paste, sauce, salsa alone. Paste is used to thicken tomato sauce. It’s just tomatoes.
