SWIFTY SUPER BOWL EVE

Happy Weekending! I started the weekend with girlfriends at a candle-making experience in Denver called the Weathered Wick.

We timed it with our husband’s annual ski trip to Big Sky. With the house to myself, I did what anyone with a birthday between August 23- September 22nd would consider:

  1. I emptied the contents of the fridge

2. Reorganized my dish cabinet

3. I emptied the contents of this library wall in our living room

I blame it on this $15 clock and this inspiration photo

I was so happy to have this blog post picked to be featured on Redesign.

  1. Thanks for including my link. Which reminds me we haven’t picked out our picture of the year (2023) yet!
We went to a SuperBowl party.. I didn’t care much out the actual football but my husband and eldest were rooting for the 9ers and were a little disappointed they didn’t win.

    1. Absolutely Hena,. Get going on next pic! We were rooting for the 49’ers. Our kids went to k-8 with the McC family and our youngest was besties with their youngest who is playing in Texas (college).

  2. We will be watching the Super Bowl! In reality, we don’t care who wins, as we are not emotionally involved with either team…lol …it is more the commercials and watching Usher perform in the halftime show this year. A fond memory is going to the parade in Denver the last time the Broncos won. That seems ages ago!

Your candle-making time looks fun! Thanks for all the interesting links!

    1. Hi Pat, I missed most of the commercials! xo laura

  3. Hi Laura,
The candle dipping sounds fun. Where the candles scented? I love organizing when time and mood allow. Your bookcase looks great.
I’m rooting for the Chiefs. 🤞😉

Thank you so much for sharing my cruise tips! I so appreciate you! Happy weekend!

  5. Great blog on moving furniture and mapping things out with painter’s tape. You suggested/told me to do that before we bought the couch…with our limited math skills, we skipped it. Now we have a couch that is much too big for our already small space! I always think about your tip/judgementing when you saw it in person.
Now I’m hoping that I’ll come home to a couch ripped to pieces by the dogs. No, just couch cushions and pillows scattered throughout the room and bone shmitz on the pillows.
One more thing-thank you for not adding JCF links!😘
