THE WEEKEND EDIT RUSSELMANIA

HAPPY WEEKEND! It is beautiful weather here in Colorado. We had amazing weather last weekend at our friend’s daughter’s wedding in Vail. I don’t have one photo of the beautiful bride and handsome (save those pics for the professional) but I do have the silly photos with friends and only 123 pics of our gran puppy, Russell. Yes, I am all in on my granpuppy!

How many of you can relate?

We were up there with mutual friends so it was a good time. I had to pop into Gorsuch known for their high-end decor and Bernese Mountain dog decor. I walked out with one or two Berner theme items, funny cocktail napkins, and greeting cards.

We arrived home from Vail just in time to welcome our gran puppy, Russell, for a long weekend while his mum and dad (my daughter and SIL) are in Charleston for a wedding.

Russell is a city dog so he is entertained by rolling in the grass and napping outside in tight spaces. He is behind the patio chairs.

Oh speaking of the grass I screamed the other evening when I saw a garter snake. I would love for these critters to move to the city. I think he was here last year so apparently he renewed his lease.

Some of you may remember critters were the motivation I needed to organize our side yard.

WATCHING + READING + LOVING

Reading the Last Love Note. the main character has the internal dialogue like Bridget Jones. It is cute and a fun summer read.
We just finished watching the Tattoist ofAuswitz. Like the book, it is heavy.
Any suggestions for something lighter to watch after the sun sets?
I love these navy dish towels. They don’t show my coffee stains. I toss the dirty ones in the bin under the sink.
What are your thoughts on faux plants and trees outside?
I have been searching for a new bag. I got my eye on the Kelly green one. My daughter thinks it is too slouchy.
The handbag will match my upper eyelids.
