BINDER CLIP HACKS IN A PINCH
As a real estate agent, I have picked up a few tricks from stagers and photographers. In addition to last-minute fixes, these binder clip tips work year-round for quick fixes when you are in a pinch.
BINDER CLIPS IN MY TOOLBOX
I didn’t plan on paper binder clips to get me out of a few jams, but office binder clips work great in a decor hack pinch. The binder clips have the strength that fights gravity and prying hands.
IBinder clips are inexpensive and small enough to hide in plain sight to the untrained eye. We all likely have more clips around as we no longer print documents thanks to cloud storage.
FABRIC + WINDOW TREATMENTS
I love to use paper binder clips for fabric-related projects. They are a quick way to hem, tuck, fold or straighten window treatments.
HOLIDAY DECOR
Binder clips proved to be a huge help during the holidays when I wanted to keep the garland in place on the mantel and tables. It’s so subtle no one ever noticed it and the garland never slipped off the sofa table. They work well with wreaths and arrangments when glue is not enough to keep it all together.
FLORALS
Binder clips work great in floral arrangements too. Do you have stems the same length, but want a variety of heights in an arrangement? I used paper clips to adjust these cotton stems and wood branches.
LIGHTWEIGHT ARTWORK OR PHOTOS
If you have lightweight objects to hang just add a binder clip to a nail or hook. Then pinch the clip open to hang a lightweight wreath or print. This works great for kids’ artwork too!
