YOU WILL LOVE THESE ROLOS DARK CHOCOLATE BITES!
These super easy Dark Chocolate and Pecan Pretzel Bites are my go-to dessert for small gatherings. Now, I no longer start to sweat when asked to bring a sweet treat.
In the past, I panicked. My husband would find me in the kitchen with a frustrated/stressed expression.
It is similar to the facial expression I make when I am annoyed.
I had to have time for at least one practice run in the kitchen.
This was my go-to dessert.
But if I forget to let the butter and eggs sit at room temperature, my Nestle Toll House Cookies would become a skillet dessert with a slightly gooey center.

Even a week’s notice, I need more time.
- I have to find and review the recipe.
- Anything that sounds like a Julia Child-inspired recipe is a hard stop.
- I keep scrolling through my Pinterest boards if I cannot pronounce an
- ingredient.
Side Note: MY family does not love the metal sign in the corner of my kitchen. It reminds me to put out the butter and eggs if I plan to bake.

A recipe that requires ingredients I have never heard of is never going to happen in my kitchen. I will make substitutions at my discretion.

And then I discovered the Dark Chocolate Rolos bags in the Kroger candy aisle (not the seasonal candy aisle). The aisle with an oversized bag of Peanut M&M’s that costs $15.99.
ROLOS DARK CHOCOLATE ATE PECAN PRETZELS
This is how I found my go-to dessert with these dark chocolate pecan pretzel bites.
The Rolos with caramel filling sits on top of a square or rounded pretzel. Bake for 2-3 minutes. The hardest part of this recipe is unwrapping the Rolos and not accidentally including the remnants of the foil wrapping around each Rolo.

If you are a reader of Everyday Edits and this recipe sounds familiar, it is similar to this Milk Chocolate turtle pretzel recipe.
You could make both and do a taste test at your next bible study, book club or happy hour.
They are both delicious, but I tell myself that Dark Chocolate Rolos are a wee bit healthier.

These bite-size dark chocolate pretzels and pecans are perfect when you want something sweet but don’t want to ruin your success if you are following these New Year tips!
