YOU NEED 3 ITEMS FOR 4TH OF JULY DECOR
I think I found the secret to 4th of July decor. Like most of my ideas, they pop into my open-source thoughts until I can take a few notes on my phone or a yellow sticky note.
But the secret to 4th of July decor is to set it and forget it. These three decor staples will get you through the summer with a little red, white, and blue for summer.
And the great news is you can find them online, at Hobby Lobby, or a dollar-ish store.

THIS IS ALL YOU NEED FOR A SUMMER DECOR

- mini American flags
- red tulips or florals
- red, white and/or blue ribbon
These items form the building blocks for a centerpiece, wreaths, or a basket.
If you’re like me, once you land on an idea, you often duplicate it because it saves time and money.

To keep my centerpiece or baskets looking matchy, I add faux boxwood or mini potted plants, gingham ribbon.

My house and I match because we both wear a lot of gingham prints.
I add pops of faux boxwood or a blue gingham ribbon.
If you’re a subscriber at Everyday Edits, you know I love red and white tulips because I can use them for Valentine’s Day, Memorial Day weekend, and the Fourth of July.
Hobby Lobby, Target, Michaels, and sometimes the dollar-ish stores have faux tulips.
These decor staples will set you up for summer success through Labor Day!
Like most of my ideas, this one was a happy accident. I had a few extra red tulips and the mini American flags.
Everytime Iused these two staples I loved the finished look.

And it took me less time than it takes to defrost chicken breasts in the microwave.
I keep my red, white, and blue decor and clear bins. It makes it easy when I’m in a crafty, DIY mood. These bitty bundles help when you are not feeling crafty!

WALL BASKET
I created this in my favorite wall basket. Every season or holiday, I just pull the contents of the current holiday out and jpop seasonal stems into the wall basket.
I love this basket from this Kentucky store.

And then there is this variation from a Bath & Body Works box. I used the same elements and had an easy, no-fuss centerpiece for the dining room table.
What do you like to pull out of storage for the summer holidays?
