Happy Saturday! Before I get into the Weekend finds I wanted to share our experience with the doctor’s office after our middle developed a 102.7 fever mid-week. Let me start with this; the phone call and doctor visit were calm. I called the doctor’s office and was prepared for a telemedicine appointment. Instead, they said, “Come on in and let’s rule out a few things.” They were calm and matter of fact. These are the steps they took to diagnose our son
1. where did he attend college? Minnesota is not a “hot” spot.
2. He took a general flu test (negative)
3. Followed by a step test (positive)
4. Followed by a chest x-ray (diagnosed with pneumonia).
It was a calm, measured exam like it would have been a year ago. There was no mention of the Coronavirus other than the words, “hot spot.”
Erich sent a group text Thursday night that mom lost out on nine potential blog posts because he did not have the Coronavirus.
Love that my kids. Love that my kids totally get me.
Timely group text since I just shared this post on how to stay connected with our college and adult children. I love that my kids totally get me and have a little fun tossing their mom under the bus!
Woke up to this news.
Here is what I found this week in between binge-watching the McDonald’s Monopoly documentary on Netflix. Very entertaining and mostly PG. You can’t make up the cast of characters in this documentary. I wonder if Doug the FBI agent is trending on social media.
Are you a Hallmarkie? Did you hear Hallmark is hosting a Christmas movie marathon this weekend? You can watch the lineup while you hang up Christmas lights.
Speaking of Christmas lights… what do you think of this idea trending on Twitter.
This DIY Easter basket is adorable & would make a fun boredom buster.
Annie’s recipe is perfect for those chilly March evenings.

Katherine shared a beautiful story that said more about her marriage than the loaf of bread they tried to buy here. Great post-Katherine!
Katie always makes me laugh and shares the must-haves I did not know I must have now. I started following her just on her blog name. I still own the Original Preppy Handbook.
One of my favorite actors shared this message of unity. Alright, alright, alright.
Please send some prayers to Debra!
Thank you for voting on this pair of shoes. 90% of you loved it, which I shared with my kids. They had a strong reaction to the orange.
