WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THIS FALL HUTCH

The sun sets sooner, with cooler evening temps and thoughts of the morning brew. We are halfway through the year so it was time to clean up my home office. The transition from summer to fall was the perfect reason for a hutch makeover in my office.

I am a big believer in making a home office a little bit cozy with functional storage options.

Shortly after we moved into our brownstone in the suburb I had custom built-ins installed for a half wall in my main-level home office.

But then this hutch got replaced by this DIY library wall in our living room.

I could not part with this hutch which most recently had this makeover.

I painted my office Hale Navy and I love the color combos that look so great against the navy walls and the white hutch. Here is what the hutch looked like years ago when it stored plates and accessories.

With navy walls, I focused on orange and white pumpkins. I still have my green stems, mixed with these branches, because I love, love, love green and navy and orange.

OFFICE HUTCH TRANSITIONS TO FALL (SLOWLY)

I kept it simple with pumpkins. In fact, I only added two pumpkins! Can you believe it? This is an easy, slow roll into fall, but with the backdrop of the navy walls and white hutch, it just feels like fall. Here are similar raffia pumpkins with a mix of orange and green.

I would love it if you pinned this for others to find or follow me on my socials.
