a super easy Valentine’s Day decor idea for a dollar for tiny spaces or apartment dwellers who are short on storage
You guys I am on a craft binge this month. And, video binge. If you are bored or watching Netflix will you follow me on my newly launched and barely watched youtube channel. My goal is to have 10 subscribers by Valentine’s Day. ;0) Ego aside, I have the easiest, cheapest way on how to decorate for Valentine’s Day for a dollar.
VALENTINE’S DAY DECOR IDEA FOR A DOLLAR
This idea is for everyone whose current living arrangement includes an apartment, short term rental or a living space of under 875 sq. ft.
Why?
Because tiny spaces and rentals are short on storage and commitment for holiday decor. It’s a challenge to live in an apartment because you may not want to spend money on holiday decor that you will have to store in your car after the holiday.
The supply list includes two things! Two!
This Valentine craft is for you! It is short on space, time and money! The cost per craft is less than a dollar. The surface area is also small and you can decorate and store stuff with this craft. Ready?
SUPPLY LIST FOR DOLLAR DECOR
- stickers
- glass jars or accessories with a smooth surface
That’s it! I found my stickers at the dollar store.
If you are a reader at Everyday Edits you know I love to repurpose these and I use repurposed candle jars year-round. You can paint them, store stuff in them, add candles to them and add Valentine stickers to the outside.
Have fun! Have your girlfriends over for a socially distant craft night.
While in the middle of making this craft I came up with this one.
When stickers meet repurposed candle jars you get an idea on how to decorate for Valentine’s Day for a dollar.
Don’t overthink simple decor. Ever.
This craft is as easy as softening butter (on the counter).
Just peel and stick a Valentine sticker to a smooth surface.
Because these are simple, cheap and take up very little space this is a great way to add a little Valentine’s Day decor to a small condo or apartment. This is such a simple way to decorate for any holiday without spending money or taking up valuable real estate space in a condo.
If you want to dress it up a bit you can add this to your recycled candle jars or mason jars.
What do you think? Here’s a little video too. You can check out my other crafts on my youtube channel. My goal is to have 10 followers by Valentine’s Day. #shameless
