TRY THESE FOR YEAR ROUND GIFT GIVING
I love to give hostess and just because gifts to friends and family.
I love the presentation of a wine bottle wrapped in a new dish towel or a cookie box with this chcolate chip cookie recipe.
And then there is the card attached to the gift bag or box.
It is harder for me to include a card than it is to buy a bottle of wine wrapped in a towel. There are too many decisions to make that take more time than the gift purchase.
While cleaning out my laundry room/ gift wrap station I sorted through the cards and seasonal gift tags.
Ugh… where is a fall harvest gift card or will the seasonal card and envelope get separated from the gift?
Less is really more.
I got the idea from my own gift giving habit.
I would use a 4×6 card from the 5$ section at Target I(formerly the $3.00) . I would then trim the sides so the card would not overwhelm the gift bag with an Anthropologie candle tucked inside.

I ordered these white 2×4 white tags with a pre punched hole in the center.
In not so surprising news I keep a hole punch in my laundry room just in case!
I found these gift tags online, but you can find something similar at Michael’Crafts.
I bought multi-color Sharpie fine point markers with a variety of colors perfect for:
holidays, seasons or themes.
If i have time I will add color coordinated ribbon.
I cannot believe how much I love this basicwhite gift tag .
It solves two headaches: time and money.
A 2×4 cardstock saves time digging through my cards greeting card boxes. That’s right I have two boxes full of greeting cards because I never remember or mail birthday cards. .

I can customize the note to fit the occassion or just add a little ribbon bling to highlight a holiday!

I have some brown paper gift tags that are very similar and I use them a lot. I’m much more likely to include a gift tag than a card! I used to have a tag punch but I’m not sure if I still have it. It was awesome for making my own gift tags out of any paper.
