Laura!
I LOVE Christmas in Connecticut! But “White Christmas” with Bing … still has to be my favorite! Our Christmas is down to just a few of us now as my folks and relatives have all passed with time … Our accomplishments and struggles seem to take up lots of our time … But where would we be and who would we be without them?? I still hold on to all of our traditions and have added new ones. Christmas is still something I look forward to and build on all year long! A Very Merry Christmas to you and your family!! I look forward to hearing more of your journey through life!
Kindest Christmas Wishes,
Tauni
Hi Laura, Merry Christmas Eve.
I’ve heard from a couple of friends who have adult kids trying to get home, including one who has had two canceled flights out of Denver Wednesday/Thursday. I hope your “leftie” is home by now, or at least on his way. I have family coming here for dinner tonight and then I’ll join them at their house for our gift exchange tomorrow.
Phew, we made it to the finish line. 😊🎄🎄🎄

Merry Christmas! My favorite semi-Christmas movie is The Sound of Music. Not really Christmas, but I remember it being on while we helped mom decorate cookies.
Next time you find something at Loft, let me know before you buy it. I have a TON of gift cards.

Hi Laura
Happy and Healthy New Year!
I ended up taking a Christmas through New Year blog break, as I usually do, as there is always a lot going on at my house and community this time of year and I don’t want to miss a moment of it. Our grandkids had a lot of activities, including our oldest granddaughter singing with her class choir at a Denver Nuggets game! I have not seen a professional basketball game in a long time and really enjoyed it. I’ll be getting back to my blog in the coming week.
We’ve been watching and enjoying the murder mystery series “Three Pines” on Amazon Prime. It is based on books by Canadian author Louise Penny. I’ve become friends with many Canadians through their blogs and they all recommended it. It’s good –I’m usually able to pick out the murderer in these types of shows but so far I’ve been surprised each time.
Our big snowstorm was really pretty wasn’t it? I’m glad our big snowblower was working..lol!
Happy New Year Pat!
I just emailed you! xo laura
Hi Laura,
I saw that I left a comment, but it must have been for a different post. I don’t make resolutions as such. I plan every year on making improvements but it’s ongoing. Haha. This year instead of resolutions, I wrote a list of projects around the house that I’d like to complete. Like the floor grout in my bathroom. I moved in 1 year ago but kept forgetting that that was something I wanted to do so I made a list of organization/deep clean items.
I’m a paper calendar person, but I wish I could force myself to do both. I would like to have my calendar at my fingertips.
Explain to your family that Dr. Sanjay Gupta was on the Today show one morning and said one of the best things you can do when you wake up is to hydrate your brain with an 8 oz glass of water. 😉
Have a safe and happy New Year. Clean slate, new beginnings tomorrow.

Hi Karen, Will reply to your email. Happy New Year
Not much of a resolution person.
I keep my calendar on my phone. And each month write it out on a whiteboard decal we have so everyone can see what the month looks like.
Happy New Year, Buddy!! I have a question for you… what do 20 gulps of water do for you except make you burp? If you tell me that people lose 10 lbs a week, I will get on it pronto!! Does it get rid of wrinkles? Cuz I’ve met you in person, and you’re pretty darn skinny and look younger than Springrtime Please let me know ASAP!! #askingforafriend
I’ll email you my funny friend!
