Happy May! It felt so good to turn my calendar to a new month. My middle arrived home from Minnesota yesterday afternoon and promptly unloaded his clothes onto the ping pong table.
If you zoom in to the bottom left you can see some gift wrap accessories on the floor from CHRISTMAS.
Erich heads to TN in a few weeks to begin a summer volunteer-ship with this program. He began the application process last fall and found out a few weeks ago he was accepted. It will be a life-changing experience. And, the best part is he will live with his Auntie Tricia and Uncle JB. I love John’s Instagram posts and you might catch Erich in a few this summer!
My sister and brother in law installed new flooring and set up their finished basement into a college student’s studio apartment. Auntie Tricia is the closest thing to a backup mom for my kids. Look at those window treatments!
Meanwhile, Evan is busy finishing finals and papers. Elliott is happy to help him study. That chaise made the blog in this post. Apparently, Elliott has made this his new bed after the rest of us go upstairs. Busted!
I love the wool rug in this room. Unfortunately, Elliott and Chloe have done a real number on it sitting in front of the Furbo gnawing on their bones and chew toys!
I had a fun week with a few projects. I am a part of a Pinterest Challenge group and opening up my inbox to a dozen emails is the best gift for this fun monthly challenge.
And, this tip for our faux plants. I didn’t know but a few of you were on it!
What We are Watching
We have binged some great documentaries.
My middle was home for two hours and had us watch this 30-minute documentary. See if you recognize the narrator’s voice.
This documentary changed several preconceived ideas and opinions. It is a great documentary to watch if you have college or young adults as roomies this month! My husband and I both loved it!
American Factory (won the Oscar)
My son noticed a lot of the young stars on this show. I forgot so many of the details of this standoff.
You guys I love this show! It is on “regular television.” And, it just finished it’s 3rd season. It is so entertaining and fun girl show! You can find other streaming services to binge!
I started this show three times. My sister has binged this series twice and a guy I worked with said he just about cried when they wrapped up the final season. My girlfriends quote lines constantly. So this week I revisited it and now I am hooked with the one-liners, hand gestures and those wigs.
I almost deleted this title from the queue because I thought it was a Hallmark movie. This documentary is keeping my boys sane!
