THE WEEKEND EDIT NOVEMBER
Happy Weekend! How are you? I love the month of November. It is filled with anticipation of holidays with friends and family. What are you planning for your Thanksgiving menu?
If you have a favorite easy recipe please email it to me! I would love to do a Reader’s Favorite Recipe post!
In not shocking news my sister called me out after last week’s Weekend Edit that I move my I move my office furniture around once a week. She may be right but I did it for this view and that face!

Raise your hand if you are hauling out the holly before Thanksgiving?

I am “staging” my Christmas decor in the unfinished space, next to my treadmill in the lower level (aka the basement). One of my favorite rooms in our brownstone in the suburbs has plywood floors and exposed insulation. It is my space.
No one in my family even questions why there is garland draped over the treadmill (while I am on the treadmill). My treadmill is to the right of the random bow next to the trashcan.

I went on a bender with my Amazon account last week. I used to scribble the items I needed at Target. And now? I buy highlighters on Amazon that arrive fourteen hours later at my door.
To ease my conscious I click the “economy delivery” or the “less packaging” option.
Have you noticed that shipping option?
I do not need my Scotch tape delivered between 4am-8am on a Tuesday. But I may need the Volcano surface cleaner. We all either are this person or have a friend who would love a Volcano scented surface cleaner for a gift exchange.

Of course, I make no apologies fora seasonal wool rug I purchased last week for our front entry. I love Garnet Hill’s wool entry rugs. In my defense they are on sale and I think free shipping. I rationalize the splurge because when we downsize I will still need a winter theme wool rug in the front entry.
QUESTION : What is the last thing you ordered on Amazon?
I started The Wedding People. A friend described the premise in two sentences. I ordered it on ChirpAudioBooks for the audible version. I think my daughter and her friends will love this book!
If you need a gift idea I love this SMEG knockoff electric tea kettle .
Stephanie made the cutest Nutter Butter Turkey Cookies.

We travel for both Thanksgiving and Christmas so my kitchen will be closed. I will shop for myself but no presents to buy.. nothing to wrap or decorate. While I love watching everyone do their thing I am relieved I don’t have to.
There is never enough storage in a house! We have a small room attached to our bedroom, which has become my landing spot for crafty things, 2 desks, and lots of stuff we don’t know what to do with. Other than that it is in bins in our third garage. I will need to de-clutter a lot if and when we ever move!
I love “Food and Wine” on Facebook for special recipes. Unfortunately, many magazines have gotten stingy about sharing for free on social media.
That grandpuppy has you wrapped around his gigantic paw! “I’m not going to be the go-to babysitter for my grandkids” went out the window as soon as he was adopted…like a week into it! Softie.
My favorite Thanksgiving recipe is your cranberry side dish! It’s amazing, and I don’t usually like cranberries. I like the idea of a holiday collection of favorite recipes from your followers.
