Hi everyone! Happy Weekending to you!
If all goes right, we are skiing in Crested Butte this weekend before our youngest heads back to college.
He is so ready to go back to school and be with his college friends. I am going to miss him. He is my baby and we are pretty tight most of the time. Probably because he calls me out on my judge-menting comments. #sarcasm
For his first five years, he was my plus one for carpool, errands, tennis drills (before he started to play), etc. Elliott is going to miss him too.
My daughter jokes that when she was in elementary school I pre-made her pbj sandwiches on Sunday night and by Friday they were dried biscuits.
When Evan was in grade school, he got the almost still hot, fresh leftovers and home-baked cookies for lunch. #siblingrivalry
Gratitude:
I am thinking about keeping a gratitude journal. Do you keep a gratitude journal? I think there is some peace that comes with reminding oneself of all that is good in our lives.
Thank you for checking in today or reading my Saturday newsletter. Let’s see what you missed this week on the blog.
My husband and I love Crested Butte! It’s such a sweet, colorful town. Best wishes to your son as he returns to college. This has been a challenging time in so many ways, but the young are resilient and will do well
