THE WEEKEND EDIT LESS IS MORE UNLESS IT’S THE CLEARANCE AISLE

August 6, 2022

Good morning! Hello, August nice to see you again. I noticed this past week our mornings are a little cooler in Colorado.

I have a pile of items to take to Goodwill today. My goal is not to “pop in” to search for the next great find like this one.

I may need a ten-step program with the clearance bins and end caps at Hobby Lobby and Target. What is it about those familiar red sticks? I bought a 1/2 dozen of the Ever Green hand soaps at Target last weekend. I will always need hand soap is my explanation.

I don’t remember my plans for seven house-shaped wood blocks I found in the clearance aisle at Hobby Lobby. But I remember I shared this blog post.

If I add the remaining five to my office’s built-in shelves I will have a block.

Thank you friends for your podcast suggestions. I included a few of your suggestions below.

Thanks for all the fun links and recommendations. I have heard that Trader Joe’s has a “dupe” for that sunscreen, but haven’t tried it yet. Have a wonderful weekend.

Fun finds, Laura! Do more Amazon finds! I can’t afford Pottery Barn. Also, I am starting to do what C does with baking-half butter and half Crisco-never thought I’d use it!

Great idea on Amazon finds! The lamp was pricey. I thought there was a knockoff at Target, but I could not find it online!
      xo sissy!

I had to laugh about your soap purchase. I recently found my local Marshall’s sells one of my favorite foaming hand soaps for exactly half the price of the product everywhere else. I purchased 4 bottles. I’m with you, when you can find a bargain, it’s saving your money. Haha. Now I just have to find a shelf in my hall cupboard to store the extra. Goodwill is always worth a look. I’ve found some very expensive items for small dollars, now all I have to do is figure out what I’ll do with them. 😉🤞
Thank you for your always entertaining Weekend Edit.
