THE WEEKEND EDIT GRATITUDE

Happy Weekending! I hope you have a wonderful Easter with your friends and family. We had snow on Wednesday and a forecast to hit 80 on Monday. Thank you to everyone for your emails, texts, and phone calls after Saturday’s The Weekend Edit. Many of the conversations and texts with my daughter centered on gratitude. In the midst of an enormous loss, my future son-in-law’s family focused on gratitude. What a reminder for all of us. Thank you!

EASTER WEEKEND

What plans do you have for Easter Sunday? Did you give up something for Lent? Taking suggestions for next year!

WATCHING, READY & LOVING

I am reading and LOVING the audiobook Lessons In Chemistry. The main character, Elizabeth Zott, reminds me of Sue Ann Nivens in the Mary Tyler Moore Show- if she had been a chemistry major with a loyal dog with the cutest name.

  1. Have a Happy Easter, Laura. Southern California seems to have finally achieved its Spring. Snow?! Ah well, I guess Mother Nature likes to remind us she’s in charge. Haha.

  2. I think I missed something but I’ll back read. I hope you had a lovely Easter with those cinnamon buns! We went to NYC to have brunch with our daughters. It was a jam packed, busy and fun day. I loved Lessons In Chemistry!

  3. I hope you had a good Easter, Laura. I cooked as usual for the family and the grandchildren all had a good time being together and playing Subcategories. I skipped blogging this weekend as I was putting decorations away and doing a lot of yard work because of the nicer weather.
Lessons in Chemistry is on our book club list but for later in the year.
