HAPPY WEEKENDING!

If you spot an unusual number of typos (for me) I am typing on a temporary keyboard. One that is designed for an accountant and not for a home blogger and real estate professional who uses words, phrases, and adjectives- lots of adjectives.

Sadly my tablet had a keyboard meltdown followed by my meltdown. For now, despite protests to get into Best Buy before the doors closed last night, I have a temporary solution.

In other news, I did something I never thought I would do in my lifetime.

The other night a friend and I attended …

our neighborhood’s quarterly HOA meeting.

It is election season for our HOA. We didn’t know this when we decided to attend.

It was like a Judge Judy meets a future Netflix sitcom.

It is also a reminder to be careful what you post on Next Door.

READING, WATCHING + LOVING

I am rewatching Gilmore Girls on Netflix. My daughter and I binged this rapid-paced dialogue the summer before she started high school. The small town setting holds up in 2024.

It might explain why I am craving coffee.

I listened to The Magnificient Lives of Marjorie Post. She was the cereal heiress who ran the company after her father’s death. It is a fun read under the backdrop of Birds Eye frozen foods and dry cereal.

My SIL’s mom and I were texting this week about books and she recommended this book. I am on a waitlist on the National Libby Library app.
