Hello from Colorado! Before I go into what was in our backyard the other night I want to support other bloggers! If you have a spring related post please email me! My email is in my blog header or scroll to the bottom for it.
Okay, I had to get that out before I forgot to mention it. Do you ever feel like your best ideas happen and you know you will remember it and then poof .. the blog post of all blog posts is gone?
Back to our backyard visitors.
It is very chilly here with no snow in sight for the metro area. We had company stop by the other night. We had two young bobcats meander along our tiered wall the other evening. My husband casually said, “Some critter is in the backyard.” And, I’m like it better be a critter.
The bobcats had triggered our security lights in the backyard. With my eyesight, I could barely see the two siblings as my husband was giddy with their growth. Apparently, he saw them last fall with their mum.
It is fun to watch the wildlife in our backyard. Remember the bears I shared on Instagram? I wonder if we will get new cubs this spring. Every time the deer or bears pass through I whisper, “Stay safe little ones.”
Chloe and Elliott? Completely clueless. And yet, with the reaction of these two Berners you would think the UPS delivery driver was part of a SWAT team.
We are gearing up for a fireplace remodel and refinishing our floors from our kitchen remodel last year. We have slowly removed every piece of furniture that does not risk pulling out a back muscle.
I am in my second month of a HomeGoods detox. With this absence of furniture on our main level, it has taken the fun out of shopping. Did I just say that? I mean I have a list of must-haves when I visit a HomeGoods store.
With extra cash in my checking account, this savings account has stalled. But I do love my own little secret stash of savings. #ad
Of course, my online shopping did not slow down. #wink. I found these spring stems, but the shipping was crazy pricey. I may need to actually drive to the mall and make an in-person purchase. I saw them when I had to have these plates and the stems are sturdy and chunky (kind of like me in January).
I may comparison shop at Hobby Lobby.
Do you guys do that? Search elsewhere or do you just buy when you see what you love?

The Denver market is insane. My first time home buyers (FTB) are competing with cash offers, waived appraisals, and no inspections. Some of you have shared your state is experiencing the same insanity. What’s the market like in your zip code?
I shared this conversation about blog friends here.
