It figures that my favorite creamy paint color is named after a soft cheese.
Sometimes a favorite color or color pair sneaks up on me. Like when I discovered by accident my love for navy and green. I never saw it coming, but my camera did.
The Mascarpone paint color had a similar effect. This popular Benjamin Moore color kind of snuck up on me. And, I realized Mascarpone paint became my go-to color for my favorite projects.
Take a look.
5 PROJECTS USING MASCARPONE PAINT
1. KITCHEN TABLE
Here is the backstory to my Pottery Barn knockoff kitchen table. I accomplished this knockoff with Benjamin Moore’ss Mascarpone.
2. GOODWILL OR GARAGE SALE FIND
You have to check out the before photo of this milk can find from a garage sale.
In fact, I have not met a garage sale or Goodwill find that has not been brought back to life with a creamy, in a soft cheese kind of way, coat of Mascarpone paint.
I keep mason jars filled with Mascarpone in this entry closet for touchups or small paint projects.
The hardest part of this paint color is spelling it correctly. I wrote an entire with the paint color misspelled on every line.
Mascarpone is a seasonal favorite because it just fits into every season without drawing attention to itself. Like this pumpkin.
I used Mascarpone when I painted glass for the first time. That is a glass pumpkin and the paint color reminds me of cream cheese frosting when I get my pumpkins out for the fall season.
FRONT DOOR
Mascarpone is confident in a room of color. The soft white calms a space down. I painted our oak front door (a very nerve-racking few minutes) with Mascarpone. Take a look at the before and after photos.
DISTRESSED ACCESSORIES
Mascarpone is also a fun color if you want an aged look. With a little sanding paper, my pots age perfectly.
Thanks for stopping by today. Do you have a favorite creamy white paint that makes you think of frosting or soft cheese?
Please pin for future reference. You can follow my Pinterest page for my favorite paint color pairings. I am in the middle of painting a hutch with Mascarpone. I post the funnier stuff on my Facebook page.
