I have two lefties in my life; my sister and my middle child (aka my lefty).
This auntie-nephew duo bonded over their shared ability to use their left hand to write, color, and nail a kick serve.
Sidenote: My boys always just shake their head when I tell them it took me a full set (of a tennis match) to realize my opponent was a lefty.

Of course, this is a first-world problem, but as his mom, I should have picked up on it sooner.
Everything he does is backward to me. And, for years he has said the same thing about living in a right-handed-styled house. #wink
There are so many fascinating reads about the historical significance of left-handedness.

If you want to understand a lefty’s struggle just trying using right-handed scissors with your left hand.
