the memories our hardwood floors hold
The best part of the project to refinish our hardwood floors was the clean slate that followed after we hired these guys to move our furniture down two flights of stairs.
The movers will be back this week to move the same furniture up two flights of stairs. And as excited as I am to put our house back together, there is a part of me that loves the simplicity of empty space.
An entirely empty space is a bit of a gift. The expansive hardwood floors have uninterrupted access to every corner and wall.

As our nest empties our hearts are full of gratitude and memories. Of course, with the real estate market in Denver, we may have a few boomerang roommates. #realtorlife
I am so excited for this next chapter of our lives as we transition from full-time parents to consultants. Thank you floors for holding us up as a family.
And, guess what… now it’s your day …
And, I am grateful we do not need to move this table.
In the meantime, I would love for you to sign up for my weekly newsletter.
