sharing how to make a summer floral arrangement in a crate for this month’s Pinterest Challenge
Hi Everyone! It’s the end of May! Can you believe it? Welcome to this month’s Pinterest Challenge. Our host, Cindy from County Road 407
If you are joining me from Carol’s inspiration- welcome.
What is more fun than gathering flowers or floral stems and stashing them in a basket or a crate? I had a basket picked out, but the shape added nothing to show off these floral stems from Hobby Lobby.
This month’s inspiration comes from Anderson and Grant.
HOW TO MAKE A SUMMER FLORAL ARRANGEMENT
- Basket or bucket
- Floral stems
- blanket etc
- I love the clock too!
For the Pinterest Challenge I went with a crate I found at Homegoods or Decor Steals years ago- about the time I started my blog.
This wood crate with a sturdy metal handle is a frequent guest in my posts.
For this challenge, I kept it simple just like my floral arrangements. I randomly added floral stems from Hobby Lobby. To add a bit of contrast I added a few faux stone balls.
With the stone balls, I weighed down a few of the stubborn stems that did not want to be confined to a crate. I added the crate to our hallway.
You may recognize this dresser. Can you believe I found it here?
We have two Bernese Mountain dogs so minimize fabrics in my decor. I prefer decor (like stems and stones) that can be sprayed down when dusty.
