SPRING ENTRY TABLE PINTEREST CHALLENGE

February 22, 2022

Hello! Can we just start with can you believe we are at the end of February? Welcome to this month’s Pinterest Challenge hosted by Cindy and her blog County Road 407. Cindy’s inspiration is all about a spring entry table. An entry table is the show stopper for anyone who walks through the front door.

If you are visiting from Michelle’s spring bar cart at Thistle Key Lane welcome to Everyday Edits. My name is Laura.

Cindy found this month’s inspiration over at Lean’s blog who shared her entry table decor for spring on her blog here.

Here is the image for the inspirational entry table decor for spring.

Leen’s entry table has a mix of textures and colors. I liked her use of greenery missed with neutral accessories. I limited my greenery but found a way to include shades of green that will make you think spring!

SPRING ENTRY TABLE FEATURES

  • Lamp
  • Books
  • Plants and Greenery
  • Stems
  • Basket

I shared my repurposed Pottery Barn dresser here. I relocated this dresser to the entry because of those drawers.

Those drawers hold all the batteries, miscellaneous tools, tape measure, light bulbs. You know all the stuff you need but can’t remember where you stashed it?

This dresser was looking for a spring update. It had a snowman on it until the end of last week. That is what I love about our Pinterest challenges- I get stuff done with a deadline!

I cleaned up the dresser and hauled out the floral stems and added a lamp (not sure the lamp is the right one, but it throws off a lot of light for the entry.

Because my entry table was a repurposed bedroom dresser I only had the top of the dresser to style.

Sometimes less is more. ;0)

So to add a little St. Patrick’s Day I added this glass cylinder filled with moss, these rocks from my favorite store in Knoxville and shades of green Easter eggs.

The spring floral stems added a little height and contrast against the glass mirror and the glass hurricane. Question: Are they called cylinders or hurricanes?

I love how it turned out. Here is our entry from the stairs. If you want to see our stained front door before I took a huge leap and painted it white click here.

Laura, I love that chest in your entry. It looks like a perfect fit and the color is a great contrast with the white walls. The green eggs and moss are perfect for spring. Used with the tall white vase and spring stems, the scene is set for early spring.

    Laura,
I loved the combination you used in your glass hurricane or cylinder? ! I think hurricane personally. Your combination sparked an idea for me about another project. I love getting all the inspiration here. So fun doing these together.

Using a dresser with drawers is a great idea for an entry table. I love stashing away all our clutter too. The only bad thing with having so many drawers is having so many junk drawers. The Mister thinks that’s okay and it drives me all kinds of crazy. Thanks for joining in. Your entry is all ready for guests and spring time!

“need a deadline”…you’re so right! My house would never get decorated if it wasn’t for blog hops! Too funny:) Your entry looks so much brighter with the white door! Love the fresh look you styled on the dresser. Perfect combo of function and beauty!

We had a dresser in our entryway when we had one in our last house and I loved it. The green eggs and moss are such a great touch for spring! I love the simplicity here. Happy Spring Laura.
