Today was rough. I was cranky. I blamed it on the cumulative effects of the Costco pecan pie I inhaled, over the course of four days. Sluggish and lack of motivation were the effects of my pie intake. It is like the McDonald’s Super Size documentary but with Costco’s baked pies. And, that doesn’t include the apple pie.
I spent the weekend with my daughter and boys reviewing and critiquing my Instagram account. I deleted over 700 photos and discussed my brand with my daughter?! Pray for me & please follow me- I want to show my kids my likes or is it follows or views :0)
Today was rough. So at the end of the night, with a Hallmark movie playing in the background, the one with Candice Cameron Bure. Not that one..the other one.. the one from two years ago, I finally settled into my blog and felt a wave of peace for the first time all day.
Isn’t it funny how writing calms so many of us? I think you know what I am talking about, right? The photography side of my blog has been a frustrating/fun/frustrating/challenging/moments of awesomeness surprise.
Garland, purchased the same day as the pecan pie, was a good place to start for a sneak peek of Christmas at our house.
Garland doesn’t move; just like me after all that pie.
So many photos to capture just a peek of Christmas at our house. I took 45 photos of this angle before my memory card was full. That butter & eggs sign in the background is a favorite! I had to hang it sideways because it was too tall to fit over that arch in the background.
Do you remember that Christmas tree I found on a Friday night after Christmas at HomeGoods?
Neither did I until I hauled this tree out from storage. It looks smaller than I remember. I think it needs some zhooshing and maybe some color! And less morning sun.
Leave it to my favorite pairings of navy, green and a splash of red to make me fall in love. This is a favorite niche just outside of my home office.
I love the berries across the clock’s face. Simple.
I have so many ideas for my vertical mason jar display. I might switch it up with candy canes. Once my battery recharges I will post a few more photos but hope you liked the sneak peek of Christmas at our house.
