This time of year, when the oven takes some much needed time off from the baking season, my budget looks towards next fall’s cooler nights and baking. I could use this time of year to clean the oven, but instead, I like to spend too much time crushing on ovens for our (someday) new kitchen. After a Saturday morning search, I have a serious case of oven envy.
With plans to gut our kitchen, I want to focus on the largest appliance purchase for the remodel. So for fun, and to keep the kitchen remodel discussion moving forward, I found a few swoon-worthy brands for my dream kitchen.
Oven Envy
My search for gas ranges, with 4-6 burners and widths that include 48″ width. Before we get to my oven envy list there are a few details with installing an oven in a different location that the builder installed. It always means more money. And, in our case, it will me capping one gas line and adding a new gas line. I asked our plumber if we could use the same exterior gas line used for our grill and firepit.
Um, his answer was no. And, then he went into an explanation and my eyes glazed over.

Oven Envy #6
This next oven is a favorite and is at the top of my oven envy list. I know nothing about this brand, but I have seen Smeg popping up on small appliances like this one at Williams-Sonoma.
I just noticed the matching mixer on the shelf!

Thinking about baking before the summer temps heat up? Here is a favorite coconut cake recipe here. Just in time for Mother’s Day (the cake, but maybe an oven)! #wink
Frosted Sugar Cookies here.
Oh I have the same envy. I would love any of these.
I love ovens too! I especially love the red one you have above. Fun!
