Oh my gosh! I am so excited to finally share my navy and white living room. As a Realtor, I work with homeowners who often struggle to define their living rooms. I get it because my living room has its quirks too. Our main level living room of our brownstone in the suburbs includes an awkward niche under the landing.
And despite our living room’s amazing views, it could not find its way until our Revere Pewter walls met the color navy. Join me as I share our navy and white living room.
For some people decorating as easy as making a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. For me the peanut butter sandwich analogy goes more like this: I start with creamy peanut butter, can’t decide between grape or strawberry jam, and then switch to chunky peanut butter.
Until this summer. This summer I discovered the power of a color palette. Add a few pieces of new furniture and I created a living room I love.
Kind of like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Once I had the navy window treatments and these pillow covers I felt like I had the color my walls needed.
I purchased this rug two years ago just before we rescued this little guy. The rug looks great in photos. I think the camera makes it look cleaner.
The room really came together when I moved these two chairs out of the space.
And, added two white club chairs from Homegoods. I shared their journey to our living room here. The white chairs look clean and crisp in the room.
And, the chairs are soooo comfortable!
I added these pillow covers to existing pillows to compliment the navy and white living room.
