MADE IN THE USA FINDS

Have you listened to the words to God Bless the U.S.A? It always gets me and Lee Greenwood’s words add so much more meaning right about now. Which is why I started searching for Made in the USA finds.

If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life. And, I had to start again with just my children and my wife. I’d thank my lucky stars to be livin’ here today.

With so many families and small businesses hurting it is a great opportunity to shop locally, order takeout, and think about how we can collectively help others in need.

I am making masks (God pray for the person who wears the ones I made). I hope my stitches stick. My masks, along with a few friends and coworkers masks, headed to a medical resident in NYC.

I thought the Denver Bronco fabric might bring some smiles to the NY football fans. #wink

With supply chain issues and delays, it seemed like a great opportunity to remind people there are amazing companies across this country that make very popular products in the United States.

I started looking for made in the USA products a few years ago. It just seemed like the right thing to do for me and our family. I do not mind paying a little bit more to support USA based companies.

Did you know Homegoods has many Made in USA brands in their cleaning supply section? This seems like an opportunity to spend a few more dollars and support companies that make a commitment to provide products made here.

From the lakes of Minnesota, To the hills of Tennessee, Across the plains of Texas, From sea to shining sea.

As America’s oldest family-owned cast iron cookware foundry, Lodge has produced cast iron pots and pans since 1896.

Santa brought me this skillet from Williams-Sonoma. I think Santa forgot a lid so Mrs. Claus maybe ordering a lid for the large skillet. I love it!

Santa brought our daughter a small skillet and I kept the two he left for my boys. I practiced my skillet cookie skills for Valentine’s Day. They are sold

Did you know the two largest paintbrush brands are both made in the United States? I alternate brands so neither one feels left out of my paint projects. Both are available at Home Depot.

I started buying baking sheets with the MADE IN USA label. Nordic Ware is one I like and Target carries another brand too.

I found this popular all-purpose cleaner on Amazon here.

And, JR Watkins makes foaming hand soap too.

While at Homegoods this winter, I discovered the Real Simple brand. I love their hand soap too!

I like to make my own cleaning products and found these cute 16-ounce bottles to hold my favorite cleaning potions!

Can I share my prediction? I think we are going to see more companies bring back manufacturing to the USA. It all comes down to the supply chain. Most of you know me as a Realtor, but my family owns a medical device manufacturing company. It is not a sexy company by any means, but we source all parts in the United States and manufacturer and ship from Colorado.

What favorite Made in the USA brands do you love? Please share in the comments.

Great post! I love Purdy paint brushes. I’m going to check out some of these other products. You’re a mask making machine! My mother in law is doing the same!

Love the dog puzzle, Laura, altho I don’t think either one of two is sharp enough to figure it out. Love the cleaning bottles too. Stay healthy and enjoy your Wednesday. (it is Wednesday, right?)
