SPRING DUTCH DOOR DECOR

Hi there! We are cruising through the first half of the year. I am excited to share my favorite door in my house! I love to decorate my Dutch door for spring!

My Dutch door spring inspiration comes from Karen at Sanctuary Decor.

DUTCH DOOR

I am so excited to share our Dutch door off the kitchen that leads to our backyard.

SPRING DOOR ELEMENTS

Our Dutch door leads in and out of the kitchen and back patio. It is the main thoroughfare for our Bernese Mountain dogs, Chloe and Elliott.

I started with cleaning the surrounding baseboards and trim. I found a cushioned, blue floor mat at Homegoods to set the scene.

Unlike my previous mat, this one is easy to clean muddy paw prints this time of year.

I didn’t notice the four-leaf clover when I bought it, but I will take all the luck I can get!

These challenges are great because they motivate me to change up my decor. For this challenge, I moved my milk can closer to the door and moved the food bowls around the corner. Keep reading for Chloe and Elliott’s reactions to this Pinterest Challenge.

I liked the milk can off to the side, but it was a little tight. I had the milkcan to the left of the Dutch door.

And this is what is to the right of the back door.

Sidenote: Okay, looking at this photo to the right of the door it is too busy and crowded.

This is just another reason I love these challenges!

I would love it if you pinned this image to Pinterest. Or follow me on Instagram!
