There are many options for wallpaper sheets.
For my first purchase, I chose this Herbarium print.
It is in a windowless half bath.
It was like bringing something to life in a room with no natural light.
I love the contrast of the navy print on my Revere Pewter walls.
WALL ART TIPS
The decorative paper sheets vary in size.
Double-check the online measurements. Some prints are smaller and work well in a 5×7 frame.
Sadly, the print was too wide for my used wood frames.
I forgot the DIY guide rule: measure twice, frame once.
And then I remembered a canvas print destined for the Goodwill bin.
You guys it was a crafter’s miracle. The sign’s dimensions were identical to the print’s dimensions, measuring 20×28 inches.
The archival paper is printed on a lightweight paper. The challenge was to adhere the print to the canvas frame without damaging the print.
The double sticky tape worked best.
I added it to each corner and the top and bottom of the frame.
DECORATIVE WALL ART FRAME IDEAS
- frames
- plywood sheets from Home Depot
- baseboard or molding trim (this was my backup plan)
- foam board
- you could use spray adhesive over a flat Amazon box!
