LOOK AT THE CUTEST BRANCH ENTRYWAY

Is this just the cutest entry for the fall season? I saw this image of unknown origin last year. I spent the last nine months looking for branches. It was going to be a copycat project.

I had

  • pumpkins
  • black candlesticks
  • candles
  • real and faux pumpkins
  • entryway dresser

This was going to be my best copycat project ever!

Then this summer, HOAs in Colorado focused on fire mitigation.

With all of the fire mitigation in Colorado, I felt like I was contributing to fire prevention efforts. And have fun with this fall decor inspiration.

It was a win/win.

Except the branch I saved for months and months was apparently mistakenly hauled out into a wood chipper. The mobile wood chipper was in the middle of our cul-de-sac.

Remember when I brought these branches home?

I think my (first) husband should be questioned. The convenient wood chipper in the middle of our cul-de-sac was too tempting for him to leave my front-door fall entry dreams alone.

So where I planned (for months) to share (show off) my copycat branch-and-pumpkin entryway, I have a stick. It weighs less than an ounce.

Like These sticks.

Sticks are not branches.

There is always next year!

Is this not the cutest entryway with a branch and pumpkins?

I am going to find myself a tree trunk! Enjoy the inspiration and a few laughs.

Meanwhile: My husband is looking for legal counsel, as all accusations point to him.

  1. I want to try something like this with branches and lights on the front porch. We don’t have a lot of trees so not so many branches to pick from. We’ll see how it goes!
