March is known for a few things.. extended daylight and a break from the holidays. But there is one recipe that is in a year-round rotation in our kitchen; the sugar cookie. The icing suggests the season. So I had a little fun with the leftover holiday M&M bags. I sorted out the green M&M’s to make a Lego Sugar Cookies for St. Patrick’s Day.
This time of year you can find the spring M&M’s if you want pastel sugar cookies. The icing and M&M’s are flexible for the season or holiday. And, the pastel M&M’s and icing colors are perfect for spring.
These Lego sugar cookies are a fun, after-school treat (maybe serve after something with a little protein). Or, perfect when the family gathers with all the cousins!
These Lego sugar cookies always bring out the smiles.
