HOW TO USE INDOOR PLANTS

Like most decor staples, it is all about moderation. Indoor plants, both real artficial, are popular this time of year! Why? Because household plants do not compete with a dozen Christmas trees of varying heights and widths.

That’s how I feel when I stand next to my ttall friends. I’m like a shrub next to a 5’8 Evergreen tree.

GOT PLANTS?

Indoor plants are one of the most affordable decor options for decorating or staging a space.

Indoor plants fill the gaps between the rooms and make for an easy fix for budget decor.

This is why home stagers place plants in front of windows or between two rooms.

Household plants are the seat fillers for sparse rooms or bathrooms that need an unexpected pop of green.

Plants are one of the few accessories that look good in a corner on the floor or propped up on a crate or desk to draw the eye above (or away from an unsightly view).

Potted Plants can be used to transition from one room to another.

The trick is to place them in areas where they are the center of attention and not looking like they need attention. You do not want you plant sitting there like “hello?” “What am I doing nex to the garage door”?

The key is to find the balance in a room that needs a little something and then positioning the plant just right.

That is where this tip comes into play. !
