HOW TO UPDATE A BATHROOM FOR UNDER $50

This list includes purchases for under $50. It’s your choice on what you want to do to update your bathroom.

Over the years I have used these ideas in my home and consulted sellers with these same ideas.

Think of this list as a menu based on time and budget. You get to pick and choose.

BUDGET FRIENDLY BATHROOM UPDATES

  1. Add a fabric shower curtain to a shower/bath combo. Fabric adds warmth to a space filled with tile. It neutralizes outdated paint and tile choices from the previous decade.

2. . Try this tip to update your bathroom cabinet hardware.

3. Add a plant to the edge of your tub. An oversized plant is a distraction from the 2019 jacuzzi tub in an almond finish.

I like to add them to a window ledge above a toilet.

Again it draws the eye away from the dated tub or the toilet lid that someone forgot to put down.

4. This budget-friendly idea is a favorite! Add a small lamp to a powder bath. The extra light warms the space, and dims the dated jacuzzi tub,

5. If your hand towels look tired or have fringe on the bottom it might be time to buy a set of hand towels. I suggest thick hand towels in a color that won’t show grime.
