HOW TO GET BETTER WINDOW VIEWS?
Have you noticed that when we check into a hotel, the first thing we do is check out the view from our hotel room window?
And yet when we are at home, our views are filled with distractions.
So why do we shut the views out when we are home?
Many of us buy homes based on the views.
And then?
We find a way to clutter up the views!
I have a few suggestions for you today!

How many keep the window treatments closed because at some point the side or back yard became an outdoor storage facility for plastic planters, a wheelbarrow, and a half-empty bag of potting soil.
We lose sight of the very views
Or you cover your window views with clutter distractions like
WINDOW DISTRACTIONS
- framed photos on window ledges.
- plants (plants are great in moderation.
- Or hot tub, plastic yard toys, and hand-me-down patio furniture. Guilty!
- cluttered windowsills. Guilty! Remember this repurpose idea.
I am always surprised by the views hidden by window treatments.
What is the point of a beautiful window view when they are covered?
We switched out our shutters for top-down, bottom-up shades from Blindster.
Now we get the light and privacy with the top-down blinds.
Dining rooms are dying a slow death when they are covered with blinds and heavy drapes.
Remember when I tried to turn our dining room into a multi-purpose room?
The one constant in my home is to open up my house for the window views!
We capture the seasons from every room!
Sidenote: Our daughter requested black oug blinds for our granddaughter’s guest suite at Gramptons.
