My favorite thing to do when visiting cities is to find a local gift shop. And, I always search out the funny cards. Last fall, when we were dropping our son off at college, we stopped at our favorite breakfast place in Minneapolis. And after breakfast, we popped into a local gift shop. Amongst the candles and Minnesota souvenirs, there is a corner devoted to hilarious cards. My son and I took a few photos of our favorite cards, laughing out loud while we read them to each other. We ended up buying all of them because laughing with your college-age son while reading greeting cards is priceless.
I have sent a few, but not before snapping pics because they are just fun to add to a family group text. Happy Friday!
Warning…language in this next funny card, but if you had a toddler like my middle son you will love this card.
I sent this funny card to my brother and sister-in-law. Here is my favorite photo of me and my brother we took minutes before our first 1/2 marathon and months before he became a daddy for the first time.
They loved this card! Whew!
And, I had to share this snarky Mother’s Day card. It was funny when I bought it and I had no plans to mail it.
And, then after getting a passive-aggressive text from my mother this morning, I sent this image to my siblings in a text exchange.
I will never send my kids a passive aggressive text. #wink
I wish I could remember the name of the card store and the restaurant that is next to it. Anyone from Minneapolis?
