Hello! I love this season and I am excited for this month’s Pinterest Challenge hosted by Cindy and her blog County Road 407. If you are visiting from Michelle and her blog welcome to Everyday Edits. This month is all about fall porches. My challenge for fall porch decor is our front porch is tiny. What I love about our porch are the wrought iron handrails and balusters on opposite ends of the porch. They help to define the space.

I love our porch in the fall because the cornstalks add height and fill the space!

Cindy found this month’s fall porch inspiration over at Rachel and Kevin’s blog Sugar Maple Farmhouse. Take a look at their extending front porch. It’s inspiration like this that I want an oversized front porch! It is also why I love these challenges because it keeps me on my toes. How about you?

I had to find a way to squeeze all the fall feels from this Pinterest inspo into a small, rectangular concrete porch.
Let’s go!

  • Rocking chairs
  • Cornstalks
  • Pumpkins
  • Rug

I had so much fun working with what I had. I made a run to Home Depot for corn stalks and I grabbed a few pumpkins at Kroger.

Did you know you can order cornstalks in bulk online at Home Depot? I wish I knew this in August.

Fall Porch Decor

Last year I went a little over the top with my front porch so this year I wanted to take a down a bit. I mixed in real and fake pumpkins.

I like to add real and faux pumpkins. Last year I painted some of my faux pumpkins with my favorite navy paint color.

This year my shoes matched too!

I love these challenges because they motivate me to mix up my fall decor.
