FALL BEDROOM DECOR IDEAS

Sharing fall bedroom decor ideas

Hello and welcome to this month’s Pinterest Challenge. Our host, Cindy at County Road 407 found a great blog for fall bedroom inspiration. Welcome to Everyday Edits. My name is Laura and I live in Colorado. Let’s take a look at a few fall bedroom decor ideas.

Why should the main living rooms get all the pumpkins?

For this month’s Pinterest Challenge Cindy selected Courtney’s fall bedroom for inspiration for this month’s challenge.

FALL BEDROOM DECOR TOUR

Can we just take a moment to look at that chandelier? Look at all the decor elements in this fall bedroom?

FALL BEDROOM DECOR ELEMENTS

  • Chandelier
  • Pumpkin Sign
  • Candles
  • Mantel
  • Books
  • Garland
  • Bench
  • Linens

The decor ideas were familiar which makes it feel less intimidating. I focused on the DIY mantel for our bedroom I made several years ago. We updated the mantel with new trim and stain after we created this feature wall.

It was easy and cozy to add garland and pumpkins to the mantel. I love walking into our room and seeing such and warm and cozy space.

However, with two Bernese Mountain dogs, who sleep sleep either on the bed or on the bench at the end of the bed, I keep very few pillows or blankets because they are magnets for dog hair.

HOW TO ADD FALL DECOR FOR A BEDROOM

Our dogs are a huge influence of our accessories like rugs and pillows.

If anyone has a big no doodle dog you know it’s a good thing Bernese Mountain dogs are so cute because they shed.

The other reason I focused on the mantel is the dogs (cannot reach it! So the pumpkins and garland stay untouched! The bench is more of a pommel horse for Chloe and Elliott!

I usually have a blanket on the bench for Elliott and Chloe to sleep with at night. I gave up on having other accessories at the end of the bed because they those two dogs enter our room like a wrecking ball!

  7. Laura, I love your wall feature. It so fits Colorado. I’m so impressed you did it yourself. The mantel shelf is an awesome addition and I love your fall garland and decor on it. We have yet to let Nola on the bed for sleeping. She doesn’t shed and she’s 1/3 the size of one of yours, but she doesn’t stay still for long. Maybe when she’s older, we’ll try it. She does love to knock off the pillows on the bed and the living room sofa.

  8. Love the mantle! It’s great for decorating and the fact the dogs cannot reach it. Our dogs sleep with us too. A lovely look for fall.

  9. I hear you about the shedding dogs. Thankfully, ours have been a poodle mix. Love the shelf over your bed and how your room is ready for fall. I could plop down on that bed and sleep for days. Happy Fall! Pinned
