CHLOE RAN TO THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
Good morning! Thank you for joining me over a cup of coffee or tea on a frigid Saturday morning in Colorado.
This week was filled with broken hearts. Many of you saw my Instagram reel and news. Our 9 1 /2 year old Bernese Mountain dog, Chloe, ran over the Rainbow Bridge with our youngest son, Evan, loving on her until she got to the other side.
We cried many tears following her osteosarcoma diagnosis in December.
The only thing that made me laugh on Wednesday was when my kids told me I had reposted the same video on my Instagram eight times!
We took comfort in knowing Chloe was no longer in pain. The outpouring of texts, Instagram, and Facebook messages was overwhelming! Thank you!
Elliott is a little lost without his big sister to keep him in line. On top of this, I have had a cold for over four weeks. The only things I have accomplished are reading books, completing continuing education credits, and rewatching Modern Family on Peacock. Oh and lots of laundry and complaining.
I love hot tea when I am cold or have a cold. This is an electric tea kettle and an Amazon dupe of the Smeg brand!
