BLOG POST DRAFT IDEAS

This is a short post and next week will be a recap of my most popular posts in 2022.

I have new projects in the works for next year. Let me know what you would like to see more of at Everyday Edits. Some of you have already shared some ideas I plan to incorporate.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday season with your friends and family.

Future topics  for your blog, of course doing it all on a shoestring:

Curb appeal

Organizing & getting rid of “ junk”

Downsizing, where to sell your “ stuff”, what to take, etc., where to donate, you may mention “ Threadup”, etc.

Without spending big bucks how to spruce up your home, what matters to buyers?

Do you keep family photos up? Different opinions from different people.

What to expect when you list your home ( for instance when the home is shown, take your darling pets & kids leave the house, lights on, doors open, like you say fresh towels) because you want top dollar.

home depot buckets

Christmas tree storage, floral stems, planter (drill holes in base for drainage).

hutch

And in between last minute shopping and cookie recipes I started thinking about the hutch in my office. My office desk sits across from this hutch. It has layers of paint and glass paned sliding doors that rattle a footstep.

How do you greet your dog(s) in the morning? Just for fun greet your spouse with the same greeting and you will both have a laugh. I giggle at the thought of my husband’s face if I greeted him with, “Who is mama’s big boy?” If I told him I just want to kiss his smushy face he would walk out the door and call my sister to tell her I was having a medical emergency.

Until recently, I left my Kitchenaid mixer on while I ran upstairs to start a load of laundry. I didn’t know you can overmix butter and sugar and eggs.

Take a look at my recipes to read a few of the disasters.

Do you remember the Thanksgiving episode of Friends when Rachel planned to make a dessert and ends up with Shepherd’s Pie?

As a Realtor I have seen some crazy stuff in homes. One time I had a buyer come up from the basement and he told me I would not want to go down there. I knew what was down there without even asking. Why? Because I always tell my sellers or buyers I will represent you and help and do whatever I can unless…Unless there is a snake on the property, porch and backyard. And that is why my buyer ran up the stairs.
