Do you think apples resent the popularity of pumpkins this time of year? If apples had feelings and egos do you think they would want to just go bat-apple crazy on the pumpkins or gently shove them down the front steps? Well, this may be the year of apples because they can multi-task just like pumpkins. Until now apples were the quiet ones on the counter; watching and learning from the pumpkins. And now? Apples make a play for fall tablescapes.
This time of year the pumpkins get all the attention because at some point in history they took over our front porches. They elevated their brand when they went from pies to porches to tablescapes. It turns out apples were making a play for fall tablescapes, too.
With a crispness in the air the apple harvest is in full force!
And, with gorgeous shades of reds, yellows and greens, apples earned a place at the fall tablescape.
What a great way to enjoy their colors on the fall tablescapes before they end up in a cobbler or pie.
And, with fall apple harvest in full swing apples are a budget-friendly decor staple.
And, if you have people or pets in your house; apples might wobble but they stay on the table.
The only suggestion I have is you tell your family not to eat the shiny, red apples until you are done taking photos!
