5 MINUTE AMERICAN FLAG BASKET WREATH

Hi there! This is not about a basket wreath (which I love). It is a story of how moving a wreath from a guest bathroom wall to the front entry makes me smile every time I walk through the entryway (usually on the way to get milk in the garage fridge). I am excited to share my red, white and blue American flag basket wreath and the reminder to mix up your decor!

AMERICAN FLAG WREATH BASKET DETAILS

I love this idea because from Memorial to Labor Day we have red, white, and blue decor at our house! I created an American flag basket wreath with a basket I found at my favorite online faux greenery store in Kentucky.

The only issue was the Denver metro area had had weeks of rain and hail. I did not want to chase down my red and white tulips in a downpour or find an empty basket in the middle of the yard on top of a sprinkler head.

RED, WHITE, AND BLUE WREATH

I moved the basket wreath to my entryway and I love it. I see it every time I run up or down the stairs in our entry.

I keep one storage container for the red, white, and blue decor that I use from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.

This saves me a ton of time when I want to acknowledge a holiday, but do not want to spend money or lots of time. I shared these budget-friendly tips for tiered trays and holiday decor.

PATRIOTIC DECOR STAPLES

I used my mix of red and white tulips from this store and Hobby Lobby. I had a few blue stems I bought at Hobby Lobby last year and added them to the basket. This took less than 5 minutes and I loved the colors.

I found my wreath basket at the same floral store.

I loved the location of the wreath so much that I refreshed my entryway for the summer.

Thank you for stopping by today! I would love it if you pinned this image for others to find. Or sign up for my Saturday morning newsletter The Weekend Edit.

You can never go wrong with red, white and blue decor during summer. I love all the holidays we have to be able to keep it out. Your hanging basket turned out beautifully. I keep one very similar on our front door almost all year because it’s so easy to add stuff to the greenery stems already in it. I never thought to use tulips but am going to definitely try it. Cheers!
